RIG RIOT / FIELD NOTE
RIG Riot Stats Explained
Every RIG stat, build constraint and what each number affects.
RIG Riot is built around parts, weapons, Volatile Mods and permanent RIG choices. The hardest early problem is not seeing numbers; it is knowing which number changes movement, targeting, survivability or weapon loadout.
Start with the stat's job
| Stat or field | What to inspect first | Build question it answers |
|---|---|---|
| Load Limit | Current parts and equipped weapons | Can this RIG carry the setup without losing the handling you need? |
| Weapon Capacity | Weapon slots, weight or capacity prompts | Can this build support heavier weapons or a wider weapon mix? |
| Dash Power | Dash distance, recovery and wall-kick behavior | Is mobility solving the route, or only moving you into danger faster? |
| Turbo Boost Efficiency | Boost duration and energy drain | Can you cross long spaces and recover before the next fight? |
| Missile Homing Accuracy | Missile tracking against moving targets | Is a missile setup failing because of aim, terrain or tracking? |
| Max Targeting Range | Lock range and target switching | Can the build start fights safely before enemies close distance? |
| Melee Correction Power | Melee tracking and correction near a target | Does the melee setup connect consistently at speed? |
| Armor or health fields | Damage taken before and after upgrades | Is the run failing from burst damage or from low sustain? |
Treat this table as a reading order, not a final numerical database. Exact values need current in-game screens because balance can change on launch builds and patches.
How to read a part screen
Begin with the constraint stats: Load Limit, Weapon Capacity and any slot or weight limit visible in the garage. Those decide whether a weapon plan is even legal. Then read movement stats such as Dash Power or Turbo Boost Efficiency because they affect whether the route is playable. Finally read combat helpers such as Missile Homing Accuracy, Max Targeting Range or Melee Correction Power.
This order prevents a common build mistake: choosing a weapon fantasy first, then discovering that the RIG cannot carry it, aim it or survive long enough to use it.
Stats that need live verification
Some stat labels have changed through development, and launch-day balance may differ from older clips. If a guide, screenshot or comment uses an older name, compare it with the current garage label before copying the build. A current label is more useful than an old synonym.
When the stat has no visible explanation, test it in one controlled scenario. Change one part, repeat the same movement or attack, and record what changed. Do not swap parts, weapons and mods at the same time.
Frequently asked questions
Which RIG Riot stat matters most?
There is no universal answer. Mobility builds care about Dash Power and Turbo Boost Efficiency; missile builds care about targeting and homing; heavy weapon setups care about Load Limit and Weapon Capacity.
Are the stat names final?
Use the names shown in your current build. Older devlog and demo discussions can explain why a mechanic changed, but the live garage text should decide the label used in a build.
Where should I go next?
Use Builds to turn stats into a role, Weapons to choose a damage plan, and Objectives when a stat problem only appears because the run is taking too long.
