RIG RIOT FIELD GUIDE

About RIG Riot

Effective September 7, 2026

Game overview

RIG Riot is a roguelike third-person mech-action shooter developed and published by Sage Boatman. The current public material lists Windows on Steam, a free demo and a September 14, 2026 full-game launch window.

The core loop sends a custom RIG into raids, where players complete objectives, move forward through the Megastructure, upgrade between encounters and refine build layers such as permanent parts, weapons, Volatile Mods and loadouts.

Demo and launch status

The free demo is separate from the full Steam app and is useful for checking the first stage, early objectives, movement feel and available build systems. The release page tracks whether the September 14 launch window has become completed availability in the current Steam store state.

Independent field guide

RIG Riot Field Guide organizes public game information around player tasks: building a RIG, learning movement, running raids, understanding the demo and following official updates.

This is an independent fan resource. It is not affiliated with Sage Boatman, Valve, Steam or Riot Games.

How information is handled

Release and patch claims carry dates. Demo facts are kept separate from full-game claims, and exact numbers, ordered comparisons or complete database entries are omitted when the source material does not establish them.
