RIG RIOT / FIELD NOTE
Demo vs Full Game
What the demo proves, what the full game adds and what still needs launch verification.
The RIG Riot demo and full game are separate Steam apps. The demo is useful for movement, early raids and the first build systems, but it should not be treated as the final content map.
Confirmed split
| Area | Demo | Full game |
|---|---|---|
| Steam app | App 3992510 | App 3180340 |
| Scope | First stage and six RIG part sets | More stages, parts, leg types, major encounters, achievements, progression, music and secrets |
| Best use | Test movement, targeting, early objectives and build feel | Verify final systems, unlocks, achievements and broader progression |
| Save transfer | Not confirmed here | Needs launch verification |
What carries into a purchase decision
Use the demo to judge Dash, Turbo Boost, Wall Kick, targeting comfort, performance and whether the raid loop feels readable. Do not use the demo to conclude the final number of stages, weapons, parts, leg types or achievements.
What to verify after launch
After the full game becomes available, verify whether demo progress carries over, whether the first-stage balance matches the demo, which additional leg types appear first, and whether the full game changes weapon or Volatile Mod behavior.
Frequently asked questions
Is the demo enough to judge the full game?
It is enough to test core feel, but not enough to judge the final content catalog or progression curve.
Does demo save data transfer?
This page does not claim save transfer. Use the current Steam page, developer posts or in-game behavior after launch.
Which page should I read next?
Use Stats and Builds if the demo convinced you to learn the system, or Release if you only need current availability.
